When a person is found guilty of a sexually-oriented offense he or she is usually ordered by a judge to register with the Sheriff. The nature and type of registration varies, depending on the seriousness of the offense.    

1. Sexually Oriented Offender - required to register annually for 10 years.
2. Habitual Sex Offender - required to register annually for life. May require community notification.
3. Sexual Predator - required to register every 90 days for life. Requires community notification.
4. Child-Victim Oriented Offender - required to register annually for 10 years.
5. Habitual Child-Victim Oriented Offender - required to register annually for life. May require community notification.
6. Child-Victim Predator - required to register every 90 days for life. Requires community notification
